Painting
Painting taught me to sit with ambiguity to trust the process before the picture makes sense.
When I'm not designing, I paint. It's where I go when I want to make something with no brief, no client, and no constraints. I work mostly in mixed media figures, forms, layers of texture. It keeps my eye sharp and my instincts honest. I think it shows in the work.
